Food production software that makes every batch traceable under a single number from raw material intake to dispatch

For producers of spices, bulgur, pistachios, Turkish delight, halva-tahini, flour-pasta, frozen dough and beverages: a custom operational layer that unites recipes, batches, expiry dates, FEFO, weighing, quality and export documentation in a single flow. It works alongside your existing Logo, Mikro, Netsis, SAP or CanIAS system without replacing it.

9 modules Batch/expiry traceability, recipes, FEFO warehouse, weighing, HACCP field, LIMS-lite, COA, export, BI
4+ ERPs Integration that works alongside Logo, Mikro, Netsis, SAP and CanIAS
Recall in seconds Affected shipments listed instantly through forward-backward batch genealogy
100% source code The software and data stay entirely with you
Does this sound familiar?

The picture we see most often in food plants.

If even one of the sentences below is yours, you are on the right page.

  • Batch, raw material, machine, personnel and expiry-date links are kept in paper notebooks and Excel; the records are scattered, illegible and not audit-ready
  • In a recall you dig by hand through 'which raw material lot went into which batch and to which customer'; you spend hours hunting for the affected shipments
  • Recipes are held in the ERP's simple BOM logic; there is no formula versioning, allergen management, nutritional values or batch scaling, and changes are made without being tracked
  • Dispatch runs on FIFO or by hand instead of FEFO; because products nearing expiry cannot be pushed forward, waste and returns grow
  • For catch-weight products such as spices, pistachios, bulgur and halva-tahini, weights are typed into the ERP by hand from paper, producing errors and reconciliation gaps
  • Laboratory and QC results sit in separate Excel files; COA generation, matching against customer specifications and linking to HACCP critical control points are entirely manual
  • ERP, barcodes, scales, LIMS and export portals are separate islands; the same data (batch, lot, expiry date, weight) is entered again and again in several places
  • Export documents (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, A.TR, EUR.1, COA) do not come out of the ERP automatically; they are prepared by hand in the triangle of customs broker, association portal and Excel
  • Ministry of Agriculture GGBS (the national food safety registry) notifications, the Business Registration Certificate and audit preparation are not fed by software; compiling documents before every audit turns into drudgery
  • Because temperature readings, hygiene checklists, machine downtime and waste are not collected in real time, yield, waste rates and batch costs either do not exist at all or are worked out by hand at month end
The sector's software landscape today

Which software is used in food production today, and where does it get stuck?

The industry's backbone is almost always an ERP; but on traceability, FEFO, catch-weight, quality and export, the standard systems fall short. Here is the picture.

LayerSoftware in use todayThe gap it leaves
General ERP / accounting (the horizontal backbone) Logo Tiger/GO, Logo Netsis 3 Enterprise, Mikro Jump/Fly, ETA SQL, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business One, IAS CanIAS ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, IFS Cloud, Vektora Solid for accounts, stock, purchasing, sales, costing and e-documents (e-invoice/e-dispatch/e-ledger); this backbone is fixed because of Turkish Revenue Administration (GİB) obligations. Logo and Mikro dominate among Gaziantep SMEs, while Netsis, SAP B1, CanIAS and Dynamics appear in mid-to-large exporters. But it was not designed to track batch-expiry genealogy, FEFO and the catch-weight floor in detail.
Recipes / formulation and batches (BOM, batch) ERP production modules (Logo/Netsis Production, CanIAS PRM, Dynamics 365 manufacturing); sector-specific global options: Inecta Food, SYSPRO Food & Beverage, Valdata, Wherefour, Aptean Food & Beverage (JustFood) In Türkiye the vast majority run recipes through the ERP's standard BOM module. Real formulation capabilities — multi-level recipes, formula versioning, allergens, nutritional values and batch scaling — are mature in the global food ERPs; the local ERPs mostly lack that depth.
Quality / food safety (HACCP, ISO 22000/FSSC) Solviera QMS, Skala Suite, ERP QMS modules (CanIAS QMS), the embedded compliance modules of the global food ERPs (Inecta, SYSPRO, Aptean); the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's GGBS and the Business Registration Certificate (turkiye.gov.tr) Used for HACCP plans/critical control points, documents, audit/non-conformity/CAPA records and certification (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, IFS). On the floor it still largely runs on paper forms and Excel; GGBS is mandatory for official notifications but does not feed operational quality data.
Production tracking / MES and shop-floor data capture (barcodes, scales, RFID) TRBarkod production tracking, Desnet RFID/barcode automation, KGWriteUr (atombarkod), Softek production monitoring, Aaro ERP production tracking; scale/fiscal device (ÖKC) integrations (Hugin, Ingenico, etc.) Bridges into the ERPs for progressing work orders, opening batches and booking warehouse receipts by barcode, capturing catch-weight data and recording by person and machine. MES penetration among Turkish food SMEs is low; it is spreading in large plants, and in most places weights are still typed in by hand from paper.
Warehouse / FEFO and dispatch (WMS) ERP warehouse modules (Logo/Netsis WMS, CanIAS LOG), barcode-terminal WMS solutions (TRBarkod, BarkodSis, Desnet) Used for rack/location management, batch-location links, the cold chain and expiry-based FEFO dispatch. Many businesses still run FIFO or manual processes; with no FEFO alerts in place, stock nearing expiry cannot be pushed forward, so waste and returns grow.
Laboratory / LIMS (chemical and microbiological analysis) PagosLab LBYS, Gislab, Centra LIMS; global: Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS, LabWare LIMS Used for sample intake, analysis workflows, COAs, customer specifications and HACCP critical point results. In Türkiye most producers keep results in Excel; a standalone LIMS exists mainly in large plants and accredited laboratories, and data breaks with the ERP are common.
Export / foreign trade documentation The Turkish Ministry of Trade customs export invoice portal (efatura.gtb.gov.tr), Exporters' Association systems (dijital.gaib.org.tr for GAİB), customs brokerage software over BİLGE, ERP foreign trade add-ons Used for commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, A.TR / EUR.1 and customs declarations. Gaziantep is an intensive exporter; the process largely runs on customs broker + association portal + Excel, and custom solutions fully integrated with the ERP's order/batch/COA data are rare.
Our approach

An operational layer that digitalises the floor without replacing your ERP.

We keep your existing systems and build a traceability and operations layer tailored to your food plant on top of them. The opportunity is not to replace the ERP but to build the integrated layer above it.

Your existing ERP stays in place

We do not throw Logo, Mikro, Netsis, SAP or CanIAS away. Accounting, e-invoicing and official processes continue in your current system; we build the operational traceability layer that works alongside it.

Batch/lot and expiry traceability engine

Forward and backward genealogy in one click, from raw material intake to dispatch. Which supplier lot went into which batch and to which customer? With recall simulation we list the affected shipments in seconds.

Digital data from the floor via tablet/mobile

HACCP checklists, cold chain and temperature readings, hygiene inspections, machine downtime and waste; a field app with photos and signatures that works offline and removes paper completely.

Recipe and catch-weight flow built for your plant

Not an off-the-shelf package; software designed around your recipes, your batch sizes and your catch-weight products. Weights from the industrial scales are written automatically to the batch and dispatch line, and manual entry errors drop to zero.

Recipe, production, warehouse and quality in one flow

A batch is opened from the recipe, raw materials are deducted by lot, quality and COA records are kept, and dispatch is prepared with FEFO; all in the same system, linked by the same batch number.

Real data for management on a single panel

Live yield, waste, OEE, batch costs, stock at risk by expiry date and FEFO alerts on one screen. Owners and managers watch the reality on the floor live, without waiting for the end-of-day report.

The systems we build

The right system for every layer of the food plant.

You do not have to build everything at once; we start where it hurts most — usually traceability and FEFO.

TRACEABILITY

Batch/Lot and Expiry Traceability Engine

Gathers the raw material-machine-personnel-expiry links under a single batch number. Forward-backward genealogy and recall simulation; complete records for audits and customer complaints. Installed as an integration layer on top of your existing ERP and barcode infrastructure.

Integration with your existing ERP

Digitalise without throwing your systems away.

You may be using Logo, Mikro, Netsis, SAP, CanIAS or another system; you do not have to replace it. Pan Innovation House builds a custom operational software layer that works alongside those systems. Accounting, e-documents and official processes stay in your existing ERP, while batch/expiry traceability, the FEFO warehouse, catch-weight weighing, HACCP/LIMS and export documentation are managed in the custom software. The opportunity is not to replace the ERP but to build an integrated traceability/MES/quality/e-export layer on top of it.

Our integration approach
  • You do not have to replace Logo, Mikro, Netsis, SAP, CanIAS or any other system.
  • Accounting, e-invoice, e-dispatch and official processes stay in your existing ERP.
  • Batch/expiry traceability, the FEFO warehouse, quality and the export side are managed in the custom operational software.
  • Accounts, stock, product, order, batch and weight data flow both ways between the two systems; the industrial scales and barcodes are bridged.
  • Not a one-off data migration; continuous, automatic and controlled synchronisation.
Outcomes

What changes in a food plant once it digitalises?

  • End-to-end traceability under a single batch number from raw material to dispatch
  • Affected batches and shipments listed in seconds during a recall
  • Expiry-based dispatch with FEFO; less waste and fewer returns
  • Manual entry errors eliminated as catch-weight data flows automatically
  • Recipe versioning, allergens and batch costs tracked
  • Quality, COA and customer specifications tied to the batch record
  • The same data (batch, lot, expiry, weight) entered once; double entry ends
  • Export documents generated automatically from ERP data, cutting delay and error risk
  • GGBS and audit preparation gathered in one place; the document drudgery ends
  • Yield, waste, OEE and batch costs reported in real time and transparently
Process

A realistic five-stage path that begins with discovery.

  1. 01

    Initial meeting

    1 week

We listen to your needs, your current ERP and quality systems, your product groups (spices, bulgur, pistachios, halva-tahini, beverages and so on) and your priorities. We clarify expectations and draw the right scope together. No obligation.

  2. 02

    On-site survey and process analysis

    1-2 weeks

We come to the plant and observe raw material intake, recipes, weighing, production, quality, warehouse and dispatch flows in place. We map your existing ERP, scales, Excel files and export process setup.

  3. 03

    Digital transformation roadmap

    1 week

We present a clear roadmap of which module goes live first — usually starting with batch/expiry traceability and FEFO — with the benefit and priority of each. Not a fantasy: a phased plan that fits the floor.

  4. 04

    Module-based software development

    phased by process

Starting where it hurts most, we develop the modules one by one and test them on site. Traceability, catch-weight, HACCP field, COA and export documentation go live step by step; visible progress at every stage, no surprises.

  5. 05

    Go-live, training and support

    ongoing

We train the field team and the quality and export units, take the system live and stay at your side. As new products, new customer specifications or new audit needs appear, the software grows with you.

Why Pan Innovation House?

Not a software vendor, but a digital transformation team that knows the shop floor.

A local team that knows the Gaziantep food industry

We know how spice, bulgur, pistachio and Turkish delight, halva-tahini, flour-pasta and beverage production works. We are no strangers to the realities of the organised industrial zone (OSB) or to the exporter profile.

A software approach that understands traceability and the floor

We design by talking through recipes, weighing, expiry dates, the cold chain and dispatch. We fit the software to the floor, not the floor to the software.

Not an off-the-shelf package — a solution built for your plant

We do not force you into a mould. Whatever your product groups and processes are, the software is built around them; there is no paying for modules you do not use.

Digitalisation without replacing the ERP

We protect your Logo/Mikro/Netsis/SAP/CanIAS investment and build on top of it. We do not put you through a risky, expensive and drawn-out ERP migration.

A view that thinks export and compliance together

Not just production: we also wire the export and official compliance load — origin, A.TR, EUR.1, COA and GGBS — into the software.

A realistic project model that starts with an on-site survey

We come, see and listen first. We measure before we promise; we offer a workable, phased plan rather than inflated claims.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Food and Beverage Manufacturing software.

Do we need to replace our existing Logo / Mikro / Netsis / SAP system?

No. Your existing ERP and accounting system stays in place. We build a layer beside it that manages batch/expiry traceability, the FEFO warehouse, catch-weight weighing, quality and export processes, and we provide two-way data integration between the two systems. The opportunity is not to replace the ERP but to build an integrated layer on top of it.

How quickly can we find the affected batches in a recall?

The traceability engine keeps forward and backward genealogy live, from raw material intake to dispatch. When a problem appears in a raw material lot, it lists in seconds which batches and which customer shipments that lot went into; with recall simulation you produce the scope in audit-ready form. That turns a search that takes hours on paper and in Excel into a single screen.

Do weights flow automatically for catch-weight products such as spices, pistachios and bulgur?

Yes. Weights from the industrial scales are written automatically to the relevant batch and dispatch line through the integration middleware we build. The need to type weights into the ERP from paper — and the errors and reconciliation gaps that come with it — disappears.

How do FEFO dispatch and expiry tracking work?

In the warehouse, every batch is recorded with its location and expiry date. When a dispatch is being prepared, the system first suggests the batch expiring soonest (FEFO) and raises alerts for stock nearing expiry. Products close to their expiry date are pushed forward, so waste and returns fall; for cold chain products, location and temperature tracking sit in the same flow.

Can HACCP, quality and COA processes be connected to the software?

Yes. HACCP checklists and critical control point readings are collected where the work happens, through the tablet/mobile field app. The LIMS-lite module handles sample intake, chemical and microbiological result entry, automatic comparison against customer specifications and branded COA generation; all of these records are linked to the batch number.

Can we generate export documents from the system?

Yes — and for Gaziantep's exporter profile this is one of the most valuable modules. From the order, batch and COA data in your ERP we automatically generate commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin / A.TR / EUR.1 drafts, plus the files to be uploaded to the Ministry of Trade and Exporters' Association portals. The manual preparation and the delay risk in the customs broker + association portal + Excel triangle fall away.

Does it help with GGBS notifications and audit preparation?

We do not stand in for the official systems directly; but the audit compliance assistant module gathers the mandatory records, certificate validity dates and audit files in one place, and provides automatic pre-audit document compilation and missing-item alerts. The document drudgery before every audit comes under control.

Is an on-site survey required first, and do you serve outside Gaziantep?

We do not quote without seeing the floor and hearing your recipe-weighing-quality-dispatch flow; the survey is essential for setting the right scope and drawing a realistic roadmap. We are based in Gaziantep and know its food industry closely, but we also serve production plants in the surrounding provinces and across Türkiye.

Let us start together

Let us see your plant first — then let's talk.

In the on-site survey we examine your raw material intake, recipe, weighing, quality, warehouse and export flows in place, and together we determine which module — most often batch/expiry traceability and FEFO — will bring you the fastest benefit. No obligation.
