Businesses with a site that search does not find
Companies whose website is live but does not appear for anything beyond the brand name, and whose Search Console is either missing or never checked.
We run technical SEO, content and company-information consistency together, and measure and report monthly on how findable your site is on Google and in AI answers such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
Our SEO and GEO service is ongoing work that aims to improve the chances of your site appearing for the right searches on Google and being described accurately in AI answers such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews; results are not guaranteed, they are measured every month. It covers technical foundations, content and the consistency of your company information together. It suits businesses whose products or services people search for and research before buying.
Companies whose website is live but does not appear for anything beyond the brand name, and whose Search Console is either missing or never checked.
Brands whose traffic has dropped after a rebuild, a migration or a Google update, and who want to see the cause in the data.
B2B, manufacturing, healthcare, education and technical products where buyers compare before deciding; these are also the queries where AI answers are used most.
Firms that want to appear for "service + city" searches and on Google Maps; Google Business Profile is part of this work.
A search for "the cost of ranking first on Google" is really asking about three different things. You cannot buy a position in organic results or on Maps; paying to appear at the top means advertising. The three work differently, take different amounts of time to show and are paid for differently.
No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.
| Criterion | Organic results (SEO) | Maps and local pack (Google Business Profile) | Ads (Google Ads) |
|---|---|---|---|
| What decides the position? | Google crawls and indexes pages and picks the most relevant results for each search; it does not accept payment to crawl a site more often or rank it higher. | Local results are mainly based on relevance, distance and popularity; Google says there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking. | Ad Rank is recalculated in every auction from the bid, the quality of the ad and landing page, and the context of the search. |
| When does it show? | Changes take time to be crawled and assessed; the effect usually shows within weeks to months and no firm timescale can be given. | Complete information helps the profile match searches; position also depends on distance and on signals that build up over time, such as the number of reviews. | An ad can show as soon as it has passed review and gone live. |
| Cost structure | There is no pay-per-click; the cost is the work on content, technical fixes and measurement (your own team or an agency). | Creating a Business Profile and being listed is free; the cost is the work of keeping information, photos and review replies up to date. | You pay Google the click or impression cost set in the auction; managing the account, or an agency fee, is on top. |
| Durability | Visibility does not disappear the moment work stops, but it can slip over time as competitors and results change. | The profile stays; if information goes stale and reviews stop coming in, competitors can move ahead. | Visibility stops when the budget runs out or the campaign is paused. |
| Best suited to | Businesses whose service or product people search for regularly and who can wait a few months for results. | Businesses that serve customers in a defined area or travel to them. | Businesses that need enquiries now or are testing a new product. |
The three do not replace one another: for most businesses, ads bring enquiries in the short term while organic and local visibility is built in the background. None of them comes with a guaranteed position; we measure the change in impressions, clicks and enquiries and report on it in writing.
We get access to Search Console, GA4 and, where needed, your site's admin, and record current impressions, clicks, indexing and enquiries. Every later comparison is made against this baseline.
We list crawling and indexing problems, wrong canonicals and redirects, and slow or broken mobile pages, then rank them by impact. Errors that block visibility are fixed first.
We map the questions your customers genuinely ask to pages, write the missing answers, and sort out pages that repeat each other by giving them distinct roles or merging them.
We track results with Search Console, GA4 and the query set, and the monthly report shares what changed and next month's priorities.
Timeline: According to Google, recrawling a page can take from days to months, so the effect of technical fixes usually becomes measurable within weeks, and query-level change on most sites only within months. This is not a commitment to a result. Timing depends on the state of the site and the competition. The ongoing service starts with a minimum three-month initial period and then renews monthly.
We do not promise rankings or a fixed result. We agree the measures below before work starts and report on them in writing.
If you need enquiries within a few weeks
Generating measurable demand with Google Ads is the better fit while SEO takes effect.
If your site is outdated, slow or hard to manage
The site needs rebuilding first, with SEO built into the new structure from the start.
If your customers come by referral or phone without researching
Google Business Profile and a steady flow of reviews often pays off faster than full SEO; we weigh this together in the first call.
SEO (search engine optimisation) is the technical, content and trust work that helps your site be found for relevant searches without paying for ads. Its value is that it brings you people who are already looking for the service or product you offer.
GEO is the work of making sure your brand is mentioned accurately, and cited, in AI answers. According to Google, from Google Search's perspective this is still SEO, so we run it not as a separate service but as a part of SEO that is measured separately.
No. No agency can guarantee search or AI results. Our commitment is to share in writing, every month, what we changed and why and what happened, and to change any approach that is not working.
Google states that no new machine-readable file, AI text file or special schema.org markup is needed to appear in its AI features, and that Google Search does not use such files (AI optimisation guide, July 2026). We use structured data only to clarify information that is visible on the page; if you wish, we prepare llms.txt as an accurate summary for other tools, but we do not present it as a visibility measure.
The size and technical state of the site, the competitiveness of target queries, who writes the content, and the number of languages and markets. In a free initial call we listen to where you are, run a first measurement and set out the scope and quote in writing.
You cannot pay Google for a position in organic results or on Maps: Google says it does not accept payment to rank a site higher and that there is no way to pay for a better local ranking. What you pay for there is the work itself. Paying to appear at the top means advertising, which runs on an auction and stops showing when the budget stops. According to Google, no one can guarantee a #1 ranking.
For ongoing SEO we recommend a minimum three-month initial period, because the effect of technical changes usually cannot be assessed in less. After that it renews monthly.
