Aydın's digital trade potential
Aydın is one of Türkiye's strongest agricultural provinces; it leads the country in fig production and ranks at the very top for olives and cotton. Dried figs and olive oil are the city's flagship products in both the domestic market and exports — product groups with very high brand and storytelling potential.
Alongside figs and olives, almonds, chestnuts, grapes and a range of fruits complete Aydın's fertile agriculture. Agriculture-based industry (oil, soap, canning, weaving) is well developed too, creating a value chain that runs from raw production to processed goods.
Geothermal energy is a distinctive advantage for Aydın: greenhouses are heated geothermally and the city is a significant producer of renewable energy. That means a greenhouse farming base suited to year-round production and export.
Tourism is Aydın's second strong arm; the coastal districts, Kuşadası above all, host large numbers of domestic and international visitors through the summer. That makes multilingual, visually led digital marketing critical for hotels, restaurants and service businesses.
Despite this strength in agriculture and tourism, many producers depend on middlemen and many hotels on intermediary platforms; a brand, a multilingual site and a direct sales channel are usually missing. A well-built digital presence connects both the producer and the hotel straight to the buyer.
