We move your textile wholesale ordering into an online dealer portal.
Dealer and customer accounts, tailored price lists, MOQ rules, payment terms and ERP integration — the entire wholesale ordering process in a single portal.
Textiles + B2B Portal: common problems
- Our dealers still order by phone and WhatsApp, and tracking is chaotic
- Every dealer has a different price list and we manage them all in Excel
- Stock in the ERP is not synchronised with stock online
Textiles + B2B Portal: why it works differently
Wholesale in textiles is not just a larger version of a consumer store. Prices vary by customer; different batches of the same fabric can come out in a slightly different shade; orders are placed in metres, kilos or rolls; and on the garment side, the colour and size assortment is a table in its own right. At most companies the process runs between the phone, WhatsApp and Excel: a dealer asks for a price, the representative looks up the list, stock is checked and a quote is prepared by hand. As the number of orders grows, this chain slows down and produces errors; fabric cut from the wrong batch or a forgotten discount is expensive to put right afterwards. A B2B portal is built to bring this traffic onto one screen; the aim is not to cut out the sales team but to let the system take over repetitive, rule-based work.
Where the portal differs from a consumer site is in its commercial rules. When a dealer logs in, they see their own price list, their own payment terms and their account balance; an order below the minimum order quantity is blocked at the basket. A customer on open account cannot exceed their limit, while card and bank transfer routes are opened separately for those who want to pay up front. Product pages change accordingly: weight, width, batch information, technical specifications and available stock come to the fore, not campaign images. Because order tracking, shipment status and invoice downloads sit in the portal, a large share of the routine questions put to sales representatives falls away by itself. The order form is designed for textiles too: the colour and size breakdown is entered on one screen through an assortment table, and the remaining quantity is visible straight away.
The decisive part of the job is integration. Stock, account and price data stay on the ERP side; the portal does not own this data, it reads it. An order entered in the portal arrives in the ERP as an order and is linked from there to shipment and invoicing, so no records are duplicated. Roll-out usually runs in stages: we start with a limited number of dealers, validate the price rules and stock matching with real orders, then widen the user base. Changing dealers' habits is part of the project too; the portal does not shut the phone off entirely, but as it takes over repeat orders and routine queries, the sales team gains time for new customers. The limits of the integration are drawn up front as well: which field is updated in which system, how often data is synchronised and what happens when an error occurs are all put in writing.
Textiles + B2B Portal: what the package delivers
Scope in writing, process step by step, results reported. The fee depends on scope, number of channels and, for ads, the ad budget; a written proposal follows the first call.
- 01 B2B portal (Shopify Plus / WooCommerce B2B / bespoke build)
- 02 Customer accounts, MOQ and segment-based price lists
- 03 Payment terms, open account, credit card, bank transfer
- 04 ERP connection (Turkish ERPs such as Logo, Mikro and Netsis, or SAP; the route is agreed in discovery)
- 05 Dealer panel, order tracking, invoice downloads
| Scope item | What it is for |
|---|---|
| B2B portal (Shopify Plus / WooCommerce B2B / custom development) | Sets up the main structure for wholesale. The choice between a ready-made platform and custom development is made according to your existing infrastructure and how complex your commercial rules are. |
| Account balances, MOQ and customer-segment price lists | Lets each dealer see their own price, discount and balance. The minimum order quantity is checked at the basket, and orders that break the rules are blocked before they are placed. |
| Payment terms, open account, card and bank transfer | Covers the payment methods wholesale customers use. Limits and terms are checked for open accounts; card and transfer routes are kept separate for customers who pay up front. |
| ERP connection (Logo, Mikro, Netsis, SAP; the route is set in discovery) | Reads stock, price and account data from the source and passes orders to the ERP through a route its vendor supports (API, service layer or an approved import); the ERP's database tables are not touched directly. Moving data between the two systems by hand, and the inconsistencies that come with it, disappear. |
| Dealer panel, order tracking and invoice downloads | Lets dealers see their past orders, shipment status and documents on their own. A large share of the routine status questions put to representatives moves to the panel. |
The tools behind the Textiles + B2B Portal package
| Platform | Its role in this package |
|---|---|
| Shopify Plus B2B | A ready-made platform for a fast set-up; dealer price lists and company accounts run on the platform's own B2B features. |
| WooCommerce B2B | A flexible option for companies working on WordPress; commercial rules are built into the portal with plugins and custom development. |
| BigCommerce B2B Edition | An enterprise option often chosen for catalogues with many products and price lists; B2B modules come built in. |
| Custom development (Node.js + React) | Used when commercial rules go beyond what ready-made platforms allow; the portal is designed from scratch around the ERP's logic and extended over time. |
Textiles + B2B Portal: frequently asked questions
Off-the-shelf platform or custom build?
In many cases Shopify Plus B2B or WooCommerce is enough; complex B2B with bespoke business rules or multi-tier dealer structures needs a custom build. Timing depends on the business rules and the ERP connection and is set out in a written plan after discovery; off-the-shelf platforms are usually quicker.
How does the ERP connection work?
Connecting to Logo, Mikro, Netsis or SAP is usually possible; the route depends on your version and the access you are given, and is established in discovery. The custom layer connects to your ERP through the routes its vendor supports (API, service layer or an approved import); it does not write directly into the ERP's database tables. How often stock and orders sync is agreed in discovery too.
How do we manage dealer login details?
Dealer application, then an approval process, then automatic account creation. Password resets, segment-based price visibility and order history are all included.
Can we run it from the same store as B2C?
Yes. B2B and B2C run in parallel on Shopify Plus and WooCommerce. Prices and MOQ change according to login status.
What is a B2B portal?
A B2B portal is an online sales system in which dealers and wholesale customers log in with their own price list, payment terms and account balance, place orders and track orders, shipments and invoices themselves. In textiles, the portal is set up to handle order units such as metres, kilos or rolls, colour and size assortments, and minimum order rules. Stock, account and price data stay in the ERP; the portal reads this data and passes orders to the ERP through a route the ERP supports, so no records are duplicated.
Which arm of PAN runs this project?
ERP-connected B2B portal projects start with discovery in our Pan Enterprise Solutions arm; promoting the portal and winning dealers runs on the Pan Digital Growth side. For more detail, see our B2B wholesale dealer portal industry page.
What determines the cost?
The fee depends on how complex your dealer and price-list rules are, the route to the ERP, the choice between an off-the-shelf platform and a bespoke build, and the number of products. The build is a project fee; maintenance and support are separate items. We send a written proposal after discovery.
What do you need from us?
Your dealer and price-list rules, your ERP version and the access route its vendor supports, product and stock data, your payment and credit terms, and one person on your side to own the project.
