What is Google Merchant Center?

The panel where you supply your product catalogue feed to Google. Required for Google Shopping and PMax.

Detailed definition

You upload a product feed (XML/Google Sheets/auto-sync) in Merchant Center and Google shows your products in Shopping, PMax, Google Lens and Google Images. Product attributes: title, description, price, availability, image, GTIN, brand, category. Approval takes 1-2 weeks. Common rejection reasons: a missing GTIN, image quality, restricted categories.
