Detailed definition
Google Shopping matches the products in a product feed (Merchant Center) to user searches. It differs from classic text advertising: it is image-led, the price is visible and the seller's name is visible. It appears at the top of the Search results, in the Shopping tab and in Google Lens. Set-up: Merchant Center + a feed connection + a Shopping campaign. It also features in PMax campaigns.
Examples
- Shopping ads shown above the results for a search such as "white running shoes".
