Products with strong visual appeal
Brands selling fashion, jewellery, homeware, food or cosmetics: products that buyers often discover by seeing them rather than searching.
End-to-end management of Facebook and Instagram advertising: creative, audience set-up, Meta Pixel and Conversions API, and budget management.
Meta Ads management is an ongoing service that shows your ads on Facebook and Instagram to people likely to be interested, and measures how many of them turn into messages, form submissions or sales. It covers ad images and video, audience set-up, measurement with the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API (CAPI), and budget management. It suits products and services that people discover by seeing them, often before they ever search.

Restaurants, training providers, beauty salons and local services whose customers ask for prices, bookings or quotes through Instagram messages, WhatsApp or a form.
Accounts running on the Meta Pixel alone, without the Conversions API, or where the numbers in Ads Manager do not match the orders in the shop's back office.
Teams that have run the same ads for months, watched results fade and cannot produce new images or video regularly.
The four symptoms we see most often in Instagram and Facebook advertising, their likely causes and the first place to look in Ads Manager. Each row links to the relevant official page in the Meta Business Help Centre.
| Symptom | Likely cause | First check | Official source |
|---|---|---|---|
| My ad isn't running; it is stuck "In review" | Every new or edited ad is reviewed against Meta's Advertising Standards; Meta says most ads are reviewed within 24 hours, although it can take longer. Editing a running or scheduled ad starts a new review. | Check the Delivery column in Ads Manager. If the ad was rejected, read the reason; if you believe it was rejected in error, request another review in Business Support Home. Avoid editing the ad again and again while the review is under way. | |
| My budget isn't being spent, or results swing wildly | The ad set is in the learning phase: Meta explores delivery until it gets about 50 results in the week after the last significant edit. If that is unlikely, the status becomes "Learning limited", usually because of a small audience, a low budget, a low bid or cost control, or an infrequent optimisation event. | Check whether the Delivery column says "Learning" or "Learning limited". Avoid unnecessary edits during learning; if the ad set is limited, Meta suggests combining similar ad sets, broadening the audience, raising the budget or bid, or optimising for a more frequent event. | |
| I ran an Instagram ad and was charged more than I expected | A daily budget is managed as a weekly target: on days with better opportunities Meta may spend up to 75% over it, but never more than 175% of it in a day (210% if ad set budget sharing is on) or seven times it in a week. With automatic billing you are charged each time spending reaches your payment threshold, so you may see several charges in a month or a charge after the ad has stopped. Meta also adds location fees, separate from the budget, in some countries, for example 2% in the United Kingdom and 5% in Türkiye. | In Billing & payments, check which period each charge covers and look for location fee lines; compare them with the Amount spent column in Ads Manager. If you must not exceed a set total, use a lifetime budget instead of a daily one. | |
| My ad account has been restricted or disabled | An account can be restricted when Meta finds a breach of its Advertising Standards or sees unusual activity on the account; in some cases Meta asks you to confirm your identity or turn on two-factor authentication. | On a computer, open Account status overview in Business Support Home, select the restricted account and follow the recommended steps. Only an admin of the account can request a review; Meta says the number of reviews is limited and the decision is final once the review is complete. |
The percentages and menu names are taken from Meta's help pages; Meta may change them, and the links show the current version.

Meta's Leads objective can send enquiries to instant forms, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp or calls. Which one is right depends less on your product than on who will answer the enquiry, and how quickly.
| Criterion | Message ad (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram) | Lead form ad (instant form) |
|---|---|---|
| What does the person do? | Taps the ad and starts a conversation with you; you can add a greeting and suggested questions. | Fills in the form in the ad, leaving contact details and answers to the questions you ask. |
| Precondition | A person or team who will answer messages quickly and consistently during working hours; a WhatsApp number connected to your Facebook Page or business portfolio. | A routine for getting back to people who leave a form soon afterwards, and a few well-chosen questions that filter enquiries. |
| Best suited to | Sales that are settled in conversation and decided quickly: price, stock, sizes or appointments. | Work that needs a site visit, a quote or a call-back and cannot be answered instantly by message. |
| Main risk | A message that goes unanswered, or is answered late, wastes an enquiry you have paid for. | A form that is easy to fill in can bring low-quality enquiries; filtering questions are needed. |
| How it is measured | Conversations started, plus appointments or sales in your own records. | Forms received, people reached and enquiries that turn into quotes. |
Precondition: before you switch on message ads, agree in writing who will answer messages during working hours and within what time. If you cannot commit to that, a lead form is the safer place to start.
We get access to your business portfolio and ad account, check the Pixel and Conversions API set-up and fill any gaps. No budget goes live until we have tested that events such as purchases, form submissions and messages are counted correctly.
We work out who should see your product and with what message, and plan the first month's images and videos, including any shoot. If you work in a regulated field such as healthcare or food supplements, we plan with the relevant regulations and platform policies in mind, and copy and visuals go to you and your legal adviser for approval before publication.
We launch the campaigns. Meta's delivery system goes through a learning phase in the first days, so we avoid frequent, large changes while data builds up.
We compare visuals, copy and audiences through controlled tests and refresh ads whose results are fading. We monitor weekly, and the written monthly report covers results and next month's tests.
Timeline: Once measurement is verified, the first campaigns usually go live within a few weeks. The first days are Meta's learning phase; reading with confidence which audiences and ads work depends on spend and the number of results, and on most accounts takes a few weeks. The ongoing service starts with a minimum three-month initial period and then renews monthly.
We do not promise rankings or a fixed result. We agree the measures below before work starts and report on them in writing.
If your customers already search Google for your product or service
If your account has no regular posting or replies to comments

Meta Ads is Meta's advertising system for running ads across its platforms, chiefly Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and the Audience Network. In Ads Manager you choose a campaign objective, audience, budget and placements; ads are then shown, through an auction and Meta's delivery system, to the people judged most likely to act on that objective.
The Meta Pixel sends data to Meta from the visitor's browser; the Conversions API sends the same events from your server. Because browser-based measurement can be incomplete owing to ad blockers, browser privacy features and cookie choices, using both together with deduplication is recommended. How much extra data is captured varies from account to account; we track it through match quality in Events Manager.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT), introduced by Apple with iOS 14.5, requires apps to ask permission before tracking users across other companies' apps and websites; for users who decline, Meta can measure less. Safari's Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP) is a separate browser mechanism that limits cookies. The Conversions API can reduce some browser-related losses, but it does not override a user's privacy choices.
Yes. We prepare ad content as images, carousels and short video. The number of new pieces each month and whether a shoot is needed are set out in the proposal, and we agree at the start how fading ads will be refreshed.
There is no fixed price: you set the budget, and the cost of impressions and clicks is decided in the auction by audience, sector, season and competition. The ad budget is paid to Meta and is separate from our fee, which depends on the number of campaigns, content production and measurement set-up and is confirmed in writing after the first call.
No. Results also depend on your product, pricing, website and competition, which advertising alone does not control. We agree targets with you before work starts, based on your current data; results are not guaranteed. Each month we report in writing what we tested, what we changed and what happened.
Every new or edited ad is reviewed by Meta first; Meta says most ads are reviewed within 24 hours, although it can sometimes take longer. The status appears in the Delivery column in Ads Manager. If the ad was rejected, the reason is shown there; if the account is restricted, you request a review from Account status overview in Business Support Home. If the ad is live but the budget isn't being spent, the ad set may be in the learning phase or learning limited.
Meta manages a daily budget as a weekly target: on some days it may spend up to 75% over the daily budget, but never more than 175% of it in a day (210% if ad set budget sharing is on) or seven times it in a week. With automatic billing you are charged each time spending reaches your payment threshold, so several charges in a month are normal. As of 10 October 2026 Meta also adds location fees, separate from the budget, in some countries (for example 2% in the United Kingdom and 5% in Türkiye); they appear as separate lines on the invoice.
The ongoing service starts with a minimum three-month initial period and then renews monthly. On most accounts, less time is not enough to complete the learning phase, run a few rounds of tests and read audience and ad decisions with confidence.
