Desktop applications that keep going even when the internet drops, connect directly to barcodes and local hardware, and run fast on the shop floor and in the office. For Windows and macOS, with the source code we write handed over to you.

Desktop software runs locally on the user's computer and can communicate directly with barcode scanners, scales, label printers, USB devices and on-premises network resources. Because it works close to the local hardware and file system that a web browser cannot reach, it offers a clear speed and stability advantage on the shop floor, in the warehouse and at office desks where heavy data entry happens.
Packaged desktop software is usually built around its own assumptions, not your process; they bring unnecessary modules, inflexible screens and per-user licence fees that keep climbing. Custom development does the opposite: screens are designed around your workflow, only the functions you need are included, and the application is set up to talk to your existing ERP, accounting or production systems. When the connection drops it keeps working locally, and when it returns it quietly syncs the data.
At Pan Innovation House we treat the desktop application not as an isolated island but as part of your system. We build it API-first; deliveries go through a review step before they go live, and after go-live we keep it running under the maintenance scope defined in the contract. The source code we write and your data are handed over to you as defined in the contract; third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licences. Documentation is handed over too, so another team can carry the system on.
Manufacturing and industrial sites working with barcodes, scales and label printers at the line, in the dispatch area or in the warehouse — places where a browser is not enough and speed and stability matter. Gaziantep's carpet, machinery and textile factories are typical examples.
Factory floors, cold storage or field locations where the internet cuts out from time to time. Businesses that need the application to keep working while the connection is down and sync once it returns.
Teams that work keyboard-intensive all day: accounting, dispatch planning, order entry. SMEs looking for desk-level productivity through keyboard shortcuts, fast focus flows and bulk-action screens.
Companies that need direct communication with local devices such as weighbridges, production machines, cash drawers, fingerprint or card readers — and want all these devices brought together in one application.
Even when the connection drops, the application keeps working with a local database (such as SQLite); when the connection returns it syncs changes with the server without conflicts.
Direct communication with handheld terminals and fixed barcode scanners, weighbridge/scale serial ports, thermal label printers and receipt printers. Scan, weigh, label, save — in a single flow.
Direct access to on-premises devices via USB, serial port (COM), card and fingerprint readers. With a desktop application we reach the local hardware a web browser cannot.
Two-way data flow with systems such as Logo (a widely used Turkish ERP), SAP and Mikro, through the routes your version supports (API, service layer or an approved import). E-invoices and other e-documents go through your private integrator's API (an integrator approved by GİB, the Turkish Revenue Administration), or through direct GİB integration where you are authorised for it. The desktop application becomes an integral link in your existing system.
Keyboard shortcuts, bulk-action screens, fast focus flows and stutter-free list scrolling. A speed-first design that minimises mouse use for people entering data all day.
Signed installers, silent-install support and automatic updates that do not bother the user. New versions reach every machine without manual effort.
Builds for both Windows and macOS from one codebase, sharing the same core logic. We choose the platform to match your machine park and keep the maintenance burden in one place.
We see the desk or line where the application will run: which devices are connected, how often the internet drops, how many records a user enters per day. We pin down the real need and the hardware list.
We decide on the offline data model, the sync strategy and the right framework (Electron, .NET or Tauri). API contracts for the hardware integration and the ERP connection are designed up front.
We produce working versions in short sprints and test each one with the real barcode scanners, scales and printers. Every delivery goes through a review step before it goes live.
We set up signed installers and automatic updates, migrate the legacy data and train users. We go live in stages, without stopping production.
Go-live is the beginning. Under the maintenance scope defined in the contract we sustain the application as a living product with bug fixing, security updates and new feature development.
Yes. We build the desktop application offline-first: even if the connection drops it keeps working with a local database and stores records on the device. When the connection returns it syncs changes with the server without conflicts. This is our standard approach for factory and warehouse environments with unstable connectivity.
Yes. We communicate directly with handheld terminals and fixed barcode scanners, weighbridges/scales over serial port, and local hardware such as thermal label and receipt printers. During discovery we list your existing devices and bring them all into a single flow.
A small data-entry application can take a few weeks; a comprehensive application with hardware integration and an ERP connection can take a few months. Because we work iteratively rather than to a fixed scope, the cost becomes clear after discovery; we do not invent figures — it grows with the scope. We put the most critical piece live first so you see value early.
Yes. The source code we write and your data are handed over to you as defined in the contract; third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licences. Documentation is handed over too, and you can continue with another team whenever you wish. We do not spring hidden per-user licence fees.
In most cases, yes. Two-way data flow with systems such as Logo, SAP and Mikro is usually possible; the route depends on the version and the access you are given, and is established during discovery. E-invoices go through your private integrator's API, or through direct GİB integration where you are authorised for it. The desktop application works as part of your existing system, not as a separate island.
In most cases, yes. With frameworks such as Electron and Tauri we can produce both Windows and macOS versions from one codebase; in scenarios very close to the hardware we solve it Windows-focused with .NET. We choose the most suitable route together, based on your machine park and device needs.
We listen to what you need and tell you whether custom development or an off-the-shelf product fits better. The first 30-minute call is free; the scope of an on-site discovery, and its fee if any, is agreed in writing during that call.
