Detailed definition
Influencer tiers: nano (1K-10K followers), micro (10K-50K), macro (50K-500K) and mega/celebrity (500K+). Micro-influencers are among the options that can work well for many brands, thanks to high engagement, a niche audience and a reasonable budget. Collaboration models: barter (in exchange for product), sponsored posts (paid), affiliate (sales commission) and brand ambassador (long term). In Türkiye, commercial collaborations must be clearly disclosed in the post; TikTok and Instagram are the common channels.
Examples
- A cosmetics brand promoting a product with ten micro-influencers in the same month; the effect on sales is measured with discount codes or link tracking.
